In light of ongoing 'go-slow' disruption at the Port of Rotterdam, Sealand – A Maersk Company would like to inform customers that 475 Maersk Bali 245N/249S will no longer call Rotterdam and will instead divert to the Zeebrugge/BEZEE01 for load and discharge.
The decision has been made in order to alleviate pressure on the network and ensure schedule integrity going forwards, allowing us to keep customer supply chains moving as efficiently as possible.
Port-to-port bookings will terminate at Zebrugge, Belgium which means customers will need to source alternative transport to reach intended final destinations (in line with clause 20(c) of our terms of carriage). Any losses or expenses incurred will not be absorbed by Sealand.
We understand this may be disappointing, but the situation at Rotterdam means calling the port would have led to a substantial delay for both customer cargo and indeed the schedule.
Store-door bookings will be delivered to the destination as soon as operationable feasible.
The situation is changing rapidly, but we are doing all in our power to minimise disruption to customers and will keep you updated with the latest developments as soon as possible.
Your partnership remains of the utmost importance to us and if you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your local Customer Experience representative. Thank you for your trust and understanding.
